We are happy to announce the deployment of our node called Frenchy that is mounted between Missoula and Frenchtown. A node is in the works that will help finish the link between the Bitterroot and Missoula, bridging both areas together.
Signal tests have been done and decent Coverage has been observed in Missoula and Frenchtown. It has been confirmed that a 47 Mile shot between Frenchy and a node on the east side hills in Corvallis with just 3Db. Keep watching for updates as we complete the link!
Frenchy is a Rak RAK19007, using a 5W solar panel. It houses 3 3400mhA batteries and a temperature/ humidity sensor. Is mounted on a tower at a height of about 4,257 Ft elevation.
